U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal visited Day Kimball Hospital today to meet with DKH administration, board members, medical leadership, and Putnam Mayor Barney Seney. During his visit, Senator Blumenthal thanked our healthcare workers for everything they’ve done to continue to care for the community throughout the pandemic, particularly for our efforts in vaccinating the community, and he urges everyone to do all they can for our healthcare workers, including getting vaccinated and boosted.
DKH is grateful to Senator Blumenthal and all of our legislators for advocating for hospitals and health care in our state and region, and for giving voice to the communities of Northeast Connecticut.
“Day Kimball is honored to host our federal, state, and local political leaders to showcase the tremendous work we are doing in support of the Northeast Connecticut community,” said Kyle Kramer, chief executive officer, Day Kimball Healthcare. “Senator Blumenthal has been a strong supporter of healthcare related issues and our hospital, and it is wonderful to be able to introduce him to members of our mighty team and to share the good work that we are doing that makes a real difference in the lives of those we are privileged to serve.”
