January is National Radon Action Month, and DKH’s Hematology Oncology Department is partnering with the CT Department of Public Health to raise awareness about radon gas, an odorless, invisible, radioactive gas that can build up in homes.
Attendees to our radon information session will gain an understanding of the role radon has in increasing the risk for lung cancer and the importance of radon mitigation.
A free radon test kit and educational materials are available while supplies last.
