Hospice Memorial Garden Planting Ceremony

Hospice Memorial Garden Planting Ceremony

The care team from Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Connecticut invites you to join us in support of our hospice families at a special planting ceremony to be held at the Day Kimball Hospital Hospice Rainbow Garden.

This annual remembrance ceremony will feature a blessing, reflection, and a reading of names to honor hospice patients who have passed away in the last year.

Friends & family members are welcome to be part of this ceremony by choosing a donated flower to plant in the Rainbow Garden. For those who are unable to attend the planting, a flower will be planted in memory of your loved one by a volunteer or member of our staff.

Our garden is open year-round, and all are welcome to visit the rainbow garden anytime. Please feel welcome to visit our garden whenever you wish to sit quietly, pray, and remember your loved one.

Light refreshments will be served following the ceremony. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held in our Private Dining Room, please enter through the Gift Shop/Dining Entrance (D).
