Day Kimball Healthcare’s (DKH) Warmth & Wellness Holiday Drive is back. For a seventh consecutive year, DKH will be collecting personal care items, hats, gloves, blankets, and more for those in need across Northeast Connecticut. 

Giving trees are located throughout our hospital campus and medical group offices. We now have 10 locations where donations may be dropped off through January 15, 2024:

• Day Kimball Hospital in one of the following locations:
  • Main Entrance (Entrance A), Gift Shop/Dining Entrance, Emergency Department, Outpatient Behavioral Health, and the Diagnostic Imaging waiting room. 
• Hillside Professional Building | 346 Pomfret Street, Putnam
• Day Kimball Healthcare Center | 7 Kennedy Drive, Putnam
• Day Kimball Healthcare Center | 12 Lathrop Road, Plainfield
• Day Kimball Healthcare Center | 45 Green Hollow Road, Danielson
• Day Kimball Healthcare Center | 612 Hartford Pike, Dayville
• DKH at Home | 32 South Main Street, Putnam

Donations will then be distributed to those in need through TEEG, Interfaith Human Services’ Food Pantry, DKH Family Advocacy Center, and DKH Behavioral Health Outpatient Services. 

The Warmth and Wellness Drive is seeking donations of the following items:

• Toothbrushes and toothpaste
• Bar soap, body wash, and deodorant
• Shampoo, hair brushes and combs
• Hand sanitizer and wet wipes
• Feminine care products
• New blankets, throws, or sleeping bags
• New socks for both children and adults
• New mittens, hats, scarves, and gloves for both children and adults
