Day Kimball Health (DKH) has recognized Christine Millette, clinical supervisor for the Nurturing Families Network, as its November Employee of the Month.

Millette joined DKH in September 2009 and recently celebrated 15 years of service. In her role, she oversees a team of six parent educators, an outreach coordinator, and two support staff, all dedicated to supporting families across Windham County.

The Nurturing Families program provides essential services such as weekly home visits, monthly group connections, regular developmental screenings, and resource connections to families with children from prenatal stages to age five. Currently, the program serves 65 families, helping children prepare for school and thrive in their early years.

Throughout her career, Christine has witnessed many families graduate from the program with tools for long-term success. “I appreciate the importance of Day Kimball’s role as caretakers, especially in providing resources for families with young children. We are truly fortunate to be a part of this community.” Millette said. 

Millette credits the program’s success to the strength of her team and the advocacy of their program manager. “The relationships I’ve built with my team and the families we serve are the most rewarding aspects of my work,” she said. “It’s an honor to witness the development of children and the growth of their families over time.”

Her dedication and compassion make a meaningful difference for families when they need it most, and we are incredibly proud to recognize her as Employee of the Month.”

Outside of work, Millette enjoys gardening and winemaking with her husband, spending time with family, and cherishing her friendships, many of which have lasted since high school.
