Day Kimball Health has named Ann DiPierdomenico MSW, LMSW, medical social worker for Day Kimball Healthcare at Home employee of the month for November.
Ann has been dedicated to social work since 2000, and in 2020, she joined DKH as a medical social worker specializing in homecare and hospice. In her role, Ann supports patients and families by providing community resources, outreach and referrals, assistance with placement, and post-bereavement support services.
Ann enjoys engaging with patients and families, listening to their stories, and making them feel heard and valued. Ann is deeply respected by her peers and was selected by DKH’s senior leadership team for consistently going above and beyond for her team and the patients she cares for.
“Day Kimball is truly fortunate to have Ann as an integral member of our at Home Services team,” said Kyle Kramer, DKH chief executive officer. Her kind disposition and compassionate support of patients and families, along with continuously going above and beyond expectations, makes her most worthy of being recognized as our Employee of the Month. She is an asset to our homecare and hospice program, and she is a tremendous representative of Day Kimball in our community. We are grateful for all she does to make a difference each and every day.”
Originally from Webster, Ann now lives in Woodstock with her three children, Magdalena a senior at Brandeis University, Marcella a freshman at McGill University, Gabriel a junior at Woodstock Academy and their chocolate lab named Nutella.
Day Kimball Health’s employee of the month program is sponsored by Foxwoods Resort Casino and the Mashantucket (Western) Pequot Tribal Nation in appreciation of our healthcare workers and all they do for our community.
