Now Available: Pfizer Vaccine for Adolescents Ages 5 and up

The Food and Drug Administration has expanded emergency use authorizations for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine to include adolescents ages 5 and up.

IMPORTANT: The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be administered through the DKMG adult and pediatric primary care practices to individuals ages 5 and older. COVID-19 vaccinations at DKMG’s primary care practices will be available to new and established patients. An appointment is preferred, but walk-in appointments will be accommodated. Remember to bring a form of ID, and wear a mask and clothing that will allow for easy access to upper arm.


Community Vaccine Clinics

Day Kimball Healthcare invites all community members in Northeast Connecticut, ages 5 and up, to attend these upcoming COVID-19 vaccination clinics.

These are “come one, come all” clinics, and children and their families across the region are encouraged to attend.

Youth Pfizer vaccines will be available for children ages 5 to 11. In addition, first doses, second doses, and booster vaccines of Pfizer, Moderna and J&J will be available for anyone age 12 and up. Go to COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics >


Vaccine Eligibility

Everyone 5 years and older is eligible to receive vaccine in Connecticut. For more information of eligibility requirements, click here >


Until a vaccine is available to everyone, it is important to continue wearing masks, social distancing, and practicing basic hand hygiene.
