- Biography:
Dr. Youlan Tang-Kipers is board-certified in family medicine and has authored several publications and presentations. She was a former research scholar at both Columbia and Duke University. Dr. Tang-Kipers is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Society of Hospital Medicine. She is the founder of Inspiration Bridge, Inc., a public charity that promotes cultural diversity and supports international patients. When not practicing medicine she is active with gardening, traveling, playing piano and teaching yoga. Dr. Tang-Kipers also enjoys learning new languages and is fluent in Chinese, English, and can speak basic Spanish. In February 2020, Dr. Tang-Kipers was invited to speak at “MD & Chef” series at Michelin Star restaurant - David Bouley. She addressed the topic “Eating and Sleeping: From East to West, from ancient times to modern society.“
