Program Highlights

The nurse internship program at DKH is a 4-week hands-on clinical training with educational discussions to promote critical thinking skills and professional development. All new and returning nurses are paired with an experienced preceptor in assigned department to provide guidance and support, and help cultivate their learning and development of nursing foundations before entering into their nursing career.

Eligibility Requirements

• New graduate from an accredited nursing program with Connecticut licensure. *New graduate does not need to be board-certified to apply for internship.
• Board-certified, registered nurse with Connecticut licensure looking to re-enter acute care.
